OPERATION ONE FAMILY was formed to support the families of the fallen and build a lasting bond of support. The organization was spearheaded in 2007 by Rotary Clubs within District 5320 including Rotary Clubs in Brea, Buena Park, Cerritos, Costa Mesa, Coto de Caza/Rancho San Margarita Del Sol, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Newport-Balboa, Newport Irvine, Newport Sunrise, Orange, San Clemente Sunrise and San Juan Capistrano. Operation One Family began as a collaborative effort that includes the following organizations:

OPERATION ONE FAMILY endeavors to assist military families of the fallen since 9/11 to cope with their loss, stabilize their present situation and secure their future by providing resources for life skills, education and continuing support. Our goal is to create a regional model for families in Southern California and Nevada that will be adopted on a national level by Rotary Clubs across America. Rotarians value “Service Above Self” and are a strong ally and provide valuable resources to these special families who have sacrificed so much.
Operation One Family
provides a unique weekend of bonding, life skills workshops, information, inspiration, and fun. The 2008 event takes place at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd. (see events)
ROTARY International District 5320 Charitable Foundation is a qualified non-profit 501(c)(3) Charitable Foundation that supports the charitable activities of the clubs within the district including the collaborative effort of Operation One Family at www.operationonefamily.org.
